2012 Olympics Logo Announced
they must've been on serious drugs or simply have no sense of style.
The only thing they managed to do is have people talk about how ugly it is. And that's a great marketing ploy, but, honestly, when did the OLYMPICS need any help to get itself talked about!?!
Anyway, surely some agency got bags of money for it, friends of friends are happy, and we're left with one of the ugliest logos that I can possibly recall.

UPDATE: A friend made this, and I think it illustrates PERFECTLY what the designers were thinking!!!! :)

What do you say, when it looks for me very much like a fylfot. hard, cutted - bad energy!! Who on this earth made this terrible decision??? Why can't they let designers decide it? There too much no-designers involved...
I was OK with the design until that post :)
I can't look at it anymore... All I see is someone preforming a sexual act... I agree tho, the money spent on this is just been blown.
Still waiting to hear if there were any other designs that were put forward? Surely alternatives were created in a years time.
Maybe they should have asked Banksy, renowned for his street graffiti/stencils, could have come up with a better idea that embodies the jargan they have said about this design?
yup. looks like a sex act but we're not sure whether one gender or two genders are involved.
I notice how the logo on the left
almost looks like Z O F O !
